Make Faith your Stronghold

Faith

Do you recognize the fiery darts yet?

“In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This morning as soon as I opened my eyes I caught two of those darts!! They came right at me and the hit stung.

They came as thoughts with very clear images. It didn’t take long for my wild imagination to start building on those thoughts. But, because those same thoughts held me captive in past seasons it wasn’t long before I opened my mouth and started praising God. I opened my mouth and took the thoughts captive. I opened my mouth and started singing.

When you’re free you recognize quickly what will drag you back into bondage.

Today pay attention to what’s trying to keep you bound.

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Stronghold- : a place dominated by a particular group or marked by a particular characteristic

Demolish - tear down, break to pieces, smash, to do away with

Captive - : taken and held as or as if a prisoner of war, held under control of another but having the appearance of independence

Faith is our shield. Whew!! Reader, faith is our defense, protector, guard, security. That means we are still moving forward KNOWING the darts are coming our way. KNOWING we are moving into the battlefield. KNOWING we are taking a risk. KNOWING faith is what pleases God. KNOWING faith is what makes us well. KNOWING faith requires action.

So girl keep going. Keep moving forward. Put that shield out in front of you. Use your words and dismantle the thoughts that try to convince you to put your shield down.

You got faith ? You got this.

You got faith ? Keep going.

You got faith? Open your mouth.

You got faith? Show up anyway.

With love,

Danielle 💕

Danielle Isaac COACH Who are you as a leader? When your identity is unclear, your leadership will feel unstable. But when your identity is formed, your leadership becomes clear. Formed — not perfect, but shaped in a way that becomes consistent and true to who you are. If your leadership is Spirit-led, you have to know who you are. Even if you are already serving, leading, or pouring into others… you still have to come back and examine: • what you believe • what you value • how you show up...

Danielle Isaac The Whole Woman Co. Applications are open. There’s a difference between being called to lead and being formed to lead. And many women feel it. You have the ideas. You have the awareness. You know you’re capable of more. But something keeps you in a cycle of waiting. Waiting for clarity. Waiting for confidence. Waiting for the right time. And over time, that waiting starts to feel like delay… when in reality, it’s a lack of structure. That’s where I come in. I help women become...

Danielle Isaac COACH A leader is never finished forming. Formation is not a phase. It is a posture. If you are leading — in your home, your marriage, your business, your calling — you must regularly zoom in and ask: Where am I giving? Where am I assigned to give? Where am I overextending? That level of honesty is leadership. Every few weeks, there should be recalibration. Some weeks you say no more than yes. Some weeks you strengthen what matters instead of adding more. Some weeks you rest...
