I’m Done Waiting

I’m Done Waiting

I waited for the invitation.

For the seat at the table.

For the apology.

For the recognition.

They never came.

And eventually I realized something dangerous:

Waiting can disguise itself as humility —

when it’s actually fear.

So I moved.

Not out of anger.

Not out of offense.

Not to prove anything.

Out of obedience.

Because at some point, delay becomes a pattern.

And patterns shape identity.

I had been building behind the scenes for years — praying, fasting, studying, refining.

But movement revealed something uncomfortable:

I was still circling the same mountain.

Doubt.

Comparison.

Overthinking.

Starting and stopping.

Waiting had given me too much idle time to sabotage myself.

So I stopped focusing on inspiration —

and started building formation.

I refined my thoughts.

I disciplined my actions.

I regulated my emotions.

I repeated the work.

Until I built a structure that could actually hold growth.

And that’s when I understood:

You cannot lead beyond what you embody.

If you’ve been circling —

If you’ve been waiting to be chosen —

If you’ve been preparing but not moving —

Stay with me.

Over the next few weeks, I’m breaking down the structure that helped me stop waiting and start building.

Because formation requires movement.

And movement begins with recognition.

August The Whole Woman Co. Hi friend, I’ve been thinking about something lately: What if the thing you’re asking God to help you overcome is something you keep making easy for yourself to return to? I was reading Atomic Habits and came across the idea that success isn’t only about making good habits easier. Sometimes it’s about making the habits that are working against you harder to access. That made me think about how often we do the opposite. We pray for change, but keep ourselves in the...

The Whole Woman Co. llc Class is in session Hi friend, I wanted to share something with you before I shared it anywhere else. This week, I posted an Instagram Reel about being in a season of transition—learning to trust God before everything is fully figured out. I simply shared what He has been teaching me in this season. Then something beautiful happened. A woman watched that video, felt encouraged, and reached out to begin coaching. She became my very first paid coaching client. As I sat...

The Whole Woman Co. Come back to center Hey Whole Woman, There was a moment in my life when I had to ask myself a hard question: Who is actually leading me right now? Not what I said… but what my life reflected. And if I’m honest— it wasn’t always God. Sometimes it was fear. Sometimes it was people-pleasing. Sometimes it was survival mode, just trying to get through the day. And the weight of that? It showed up everywhere—my thoughts, my decisions, my relationships, my peace. But something...
